Which type of energizer is right for you?
- 110-Volt and Battery-Powered Energizers are an ideal choice where there is available power.
- Portable Battery-Powered Energizers provide versatile, portable power for short-term animal control. Solar options are also available with most of these energizers.
- Solar-Powered Energizers are the logical choice for remote areas where there is no available power. A solar panel charges a battery by converting sunlight into electricity to keep the energizer operating day, night or during low sunlight periods.

The Real Measure of Energizer Performance
The real measure is a complex combination of voltage, current, energy and pulse shape.
- VOLTAGE: an indication of electrical pressure
- CURRENT: (amps): an indication of electrical flow
- ENERGY: an indication on the ablility to handle load
STORED ENERGY NUMBER SYSTEMS: Energy gives the best indication on the ability of the Energizer to handle fence load and maintain an effective shock.
PULSE SHAPE: Gallagher has developed a pulse which travels more effectively down the fence line. The shape and length of the pulse ensures the best animal control.
